Manufacturing Showcase 2015: Extracting value from your existing SAP technology

Join Bluefin Solutions and Sir Richard Needham at The Belfry for Manufacturing Showcase 2015: Extracting value from your existing SAP Technologies - a day of insight, networking and golf.

Many manufacturing companies have purchased SAP licences in bundles resulting in sat-on-the-shelf technologies that could be otherwise driving efficiencies, improving productivity, accelerating decision-making or creating competitive advantage.

This event, aimed at both senior business and technical IT professionals, will highlight the different ways Manufacturers can increase productivity through their existing SAP landscape and drive more benefit from software they already have. There will then be an opportunity to play 9 holes on one of The Belfry’s world-famous courses.

Attendees at the event will:

  • Find out how to gain quick benefits from undeployed SAP technologies
  • Understand how these technologies could enable your business for tomorrow
  • Network with other Manufacturing IT professionals
  • Play golf on one of the world’s best courses (golf places are limited)

Sir Richard Needham will open the event with his steer on the future of manufacturing post-election and how the new Government’s legislation could directly affect the manufacturing industry.

Bluefin Solutions’ subject matter and product specialists will then host interactive sessions to showcase the different ways that untapped technology can be used for quick benefit and ROI. Delegates can choose from two of the following four sessions:

Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

This session with live demos will inspire you to use SAP EPM tools beyond their traditional applications of financial forecasting and reporting. It will show you how to exploit your existing EPM solution to drive manpower planning and CAPEX project management alongside new technologies in the SAP EPM space, such as Cloud for Planning.

Fiori, SAPUI5 and the Internet of Things

This session will showcase how you can make the most of the free (and still quite new) SAPUI5 library to build simple, friendly user interfaces, and discussing how the collation of data from various sensors into cloud based applications could help improve performance efficiency and productivity. Attendees to this stream will learn how to react to exceptions by enabling workflows into backend business applications.

SAP Cloud for Customer

Join this session to see the capabilities of some of the new SAP Cloud products and understand how these offerings can be implemented to exploit existing SAP back office investments via process or data integration. Attendees to this stream will gain insight into enabling  customer service strategies with a single version of the truth for customer data while supporting multiple interaction channels such as telephony, emails, social media or self-service with SAP Cloud for Service. There will also be ideas for managing your sales pipeline and improve your salesforce effectiveness with SAP Cloud for Sales.

SAP BW on HANA, dashboarding and the customer journey

In this stream, we will be looking at how to leverage predicitive analytics via BW on HANA to model Customer Loyalty and Behavior during the customer purchasing journey, including modelling of key indicators of propensity to buy. A must-attend session for all BW users who have not yet moved to HANA.

Championship golf

Finally, there will be a limited number of places to play a 9-hole golf competition on one of the Belfry’s world famous golf courses. As spaces are restricted, if you are interested in playing golf please let us know via the comments box on the registration form. We will then contact you to confirm your place.
