We improve as our people progress

Bluefin employees achieving their full potential help us to deliver outstanding business performance and create new opportunities. We actively seek to attract and retain people who will be committed long-term employees and make the most of our development processes.

A growing business like Bluefin doesn’t just need people with the skills and competencies to work on current projects. Our market and our clients’ needs are changing all the time – and we know that to keep you on the team, we need to offer different ways to help you develop, too. So we take career development seriously and address it with a structured approach.

Mentoring

Ensuring that our consultants can talk to somebody independent of their current project regarding their aims and aspirations is essential. The mentoring process is also the forum for setting personal objectives and for discussing training requirements.

Project review process

Timely, detailed feedback is the best way to evaluate performance and set future development goals. We set objectives at the start of every project to ensure expectations are clear for our people – but upward feedback is also a key part of the process.

Pay and promotion process

Bluefin’s grading system creates a visible and well-defined promotion path tailored to each employee. Our people know what kind of work we expect from them – while annual pay and promotion reviews take into account project performance and any internal work that informs promotion and remuneration decisions.
