Bluefin?s Data Readiness Monitor (DRM) simplifies the administration of mature SAP BW systems, characterised by the need to monitor a large number of data loads on a regular basis. Rather than checking individual monitor entries, the DRM enables status monitoring of data loads from the familiar web reporting interface.

This means that even end users are able to monitor the status of their loads, and that this can be done on an exception basis i.e. only display failed loads.

How it works

The Data Readiness Monitor uses enhanced Technical Content to enable you to report on the state of data within your InfoCubes and Operational Data Sources (ODS). Technical Content is SAP?s own solution for reporting on the usage, performance and state of your BW system. Data will be loaded every night from BW?s own repository tables into a series of InfoCubes and then made available for reporting using the standard tools. BW alerts can also be configured to proactively warn you of load failures.
