The mission of Bluefin's Retail Users' Forum is:

To learn, develop and share best practice in the retail SAP environment in order to positively influence relevant technology and therefore derive increased value to our member organisations.

It was set up in early 2005 as a direct response to a number of requests within the retail sector for knowledge sharing regarding all things SAP and especially BI related. It is not owned or managed by Bluefin or SAP. Bluefin simply chair and co-ordinate the forum.The forum membership decide how it should be run and what it should achieve.

Retail implementations of SAP and BI have an additional set of challenges, not least the maintenance of performance when large data volumes are involved, and the Forum will seek to knowledge share and develop Best Practice.

Current member organisations are Boots, BP, Homebase, Etam, Halfords and Woolworths.
