Image 6 work colleagues (Hugh, Andrew, John, Mark, Ian and Jan) took part in this years Flora London Marathon, one of the largest marathons in the world with over 35,000 people taking part this year.

To motivate the Team to meet the gruelling 26 mile challenge, they decided to raise money for WellChild , the national charity for sick children. WellChild helps sick children and their families throughout the UK to manage the consequences of serious illness and complex health conditions through a programme of care, support and research.

"Trainig for a marathon in April meant lots of 6am training runs in the preceding months -  the mornings wwhen its cold and dark outside and you can hear the rain battering off the window pane. Gone were lazy Sunday afternoons with a glass of wine - but we were confident the effort would pay of," said Andrew.

The guys did an excellent job of raising over £8,000 for their chosen charity.
