The project was complete in 2001 and for me it felt like the right time to join the consulting ranks. The next few years were invaluable in gaining more experience both in SAP but more importantly in dealing with different clients in different situations. I worked on more SD projects but was in the right place at the right time when SAP CRM started to be taken seriously. I managed an early mobile sales implementation, a sales force automation project and a CRM complaints management system.

At the end of 2005 I met Michael Eldridge, Bluefin's CRM Director and discussed the opportunities Bluefin could provide. I was frustrated at the lack of focus on the new product areas, this is clearly not an issue in Bluefin, and I joined the company in January 2006. I immediately enjoyed the sense of respect between colleagues, and the challenge of helping build a significant CRM practice. We have projects in all areas of CRM and the technical challenges continue through the use of tools such as PC-UI, Portal, IC web and internet sales and service. Although I still get my hands dirty I am spending more time managing various CRM projects and trying to bring together the various skills that contribute to the success of a CRM project. The CRM practice continues to grow rapidly and now contributes to a large proportion of the company's revenue, I am looking forward to contributing more to its success.
