Risk Management Review

Bluefin?s experience of running projects has enabled us to build up a wealth of experience regarding risk management and mitigation.

A Risk Management Review can be carried out at any time but most potential benefit can be gained at significant milestone stages such as:

  • Project Inception
  • Blueprint
  • Realisation
  • Cutover and go-live
  • The objective is to ensure that major risks are identified and dealt with, enabling the project to meet its timescales and stated objectives.

The process will involve a Bluefin Risk Manager spending time with key stakeholders such as the Project Sponsor, the Project Manager, Key Business Users, and the Development Team Leads.

Daily update sessions will ensure that the most pressing issues are communicated at an early stage.

A comprehensive Risk Management Report will be produced. Key risks will be clearly identified and communicated in an objective manner, together with recommendations at to how these should be mitigated.

The main findings will then be presented back via a Management Briefing.

The whole process is typically complete within three days.

Post-Implementation Review

A Bluefin Post-Implementation Review captures vital project information with the goal of feeding the findings into the next project or phase.

The review is best carried out shortly after a project has gone live, and all of the team members are still available.

Via a series of workshops and interviews, the way the project, team and team members achieved their objectives will be ascertained.

Information will be presented back via a Post-Implementation Review document and a Management Briefing.

A Bluefin Post-Implementation Review usually takes two days to complete.
