JohnsonDiversey BW migration now live! Print E-mail
Bluefin have just completed a challenging BW migration project for JohnsonDiversey.
 
The requirement was to migrate from the current IBM AIX platform based in the UK to an HP-UX platform at the corporate data centre in the US, whilst re-sizing the system at the same time.
 
The work had to be completed within challenging timescales of 3 months in order to minimse ongoing running costs of the UK data centre.
 
After a rigorous structured testing approach and numerous trials, Bluefin were able to fit the migration into a weekend in order to minimise business disruption.
 
Commenting on this achievement, Bluefin's CTO Mike Curl said
