Bluefin on NetWeaver 2004s Ramp Up Print E-mail

As part of Bluefin's commitment to thought leadership in SAP Technologies, Bluefin is participating in NetWeaver 2004s Ramp-Up programme.

Showing their commitment, the software was up and running within a week of Ramp Up starting, and a number of Bluefin consultants are getting hands-on experience very early on. Bluefin's clients are getting an early insight into the new capabilities of the technology and are able to factor it into their strategic roadmaps.

Mike Curl, Bluefin's Technical Director, sees NetWeaver 2004s as an important step for SAP.

NW2004s really is a huge milestone for SAP. There is so much in this release, including the move from individual products to a number of deployable scenarios built on the NetWeaver platform. So we haven't just installed BW for ramp-up, but a number of scenarios which has resulted in us have BW, Enterprise Portal, XI and BI Java all installed on one machine, as one instance. I'm expecting BI Accelerator (which was High Performance Analytics - HPA) to be the star of the show, but there are other significant new features on offer such as the new .Net based front end tools including formatted reporting and Integrated Planning.

James Appleby, Bluefin's Managing Director, confirmed Bluefin's commitment to intellectual leadership.

Bluefin are the best at what they do and are committed to staying that way. Being on Ramp Up for core technologies helps this, and so we have committed to both NetWeaver 2004s and CRM v5 Ramp Up programmes. We are delighted to provide SAP with as much support as possible in to make their products the best in the world.
