The Integration Builder

Creation of Integration scenarios at build time is completed via two elements. Firstly you use the Integration Repository (Designer) to build all the objects involved in the scenario (you can reuse existing objects), such as Data Types, Message Types, Message Interfaces & Integration Processes.  Then you use the Integration Directory (Configurator) to take the Integration Scenario from an abstract design to an actual implementation, aligned with message & receiver determination, definition of the adapters used, right down to IP addresses.

Graphical mapping tool within the integration repository

There are a number of ways to build message mappings. Using the 'Drag and Drop' Graphical mapping tool is one of them.
