1. More Flexible Searches

Users can still save personalised searches easily but the search criteria are much more flexible allowing you to add multiple entries for single criteria.  Unfortunately the search doesn't yet include a full set of operands such as exclusions yet. 

A nice feature is being able to search by marketing attributes at last. 

Finally all saved searches are available from the home page.  This goes some way to making up for the loss of 'central search' that used to exist in PC UI.

2. No need for portal

The new UI doesn't require the portal framework, which means less complexity.  Indeed the whole roles concept is much simpler.  All of the screen shots you see are run direct from the CRM system in a browser.  Reports from BW are also integrated within the new UI. 

Of course you can use the UI from within the Portal if you wish.
