Chief Executive, Bluefin Solutions
James Appleby has been Chief Executive of Bluefin Solutions since he and three colleagues founded it in 2002. Under James’ leadership, Bluefin Solutions has become the UK’s leading SAP business and technology consultancy with an enviable reputation for quality and excellence for its customer service, consultancy approach and delivery.
James worked as a consultant for 10 years before founding Bluefin, and prior to that was an engineer. His experience has focused on SAP technology-based Performance Management, leading large teams in delivering innovative data warehouse, portal, and SAP solutions around the world.
In addition to his role as Chief Executive, James advises clients and publically presents on:
- Performance Management solutions (such as the Balanced Scorecard) and how customers can use them to implement their strategy more effectively.
- SAP's current technology products suite: how customers' current business problems can (or cannot) be solved by technology.
