James worked as a consultant for 10 years before founding Bluefin, and prior to that as an engineer. His experience has focused on Performance Management and SAP, and he has led large teams delivering innovative solutions around the world including global data warehouses, portals, and SAP solutions.
In addition to his role as Chief Executive, James advises Bluefin customers in two key areas:
- Performance Management Solutions (such as the Balanced Scorecard) and how customers can use them to implement their strategy more effectively
- SAP's Current Technology Products Suite: how customers' current business problems can (or cannot) be solved using SAP.

| Neville DavisNeville was appointed Chariman of Bluefin in 2008. Neville was formerly Chief Executive of Compel Group plc, an IT solutions business focussed on large corporate customers, which was quoted for 12 years prior to its sale in 2007. He held this position for over 20 years, growing the business from revenues of £5m (30 employees) to a peak of £300m (1500 employees). He is a Chartered Accountant, qualifying with Deloitte in London. Neville is also Chairman of GoIndustry-DoveBid plc, an AIM quoted global auctioneer of industrial equipment.
