Right from the start, we wanted Bluefin to be a different breed of consultancy. Our values didn't just materialise on a white board after a brain-storming session. We just looked at what makes us different – in the eyes of our people and our clients – and distilled it down to five core values.

Teamwork

  • We work collaboratively with all of our stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Knowledge sharing is ingrained in our culture: in employee feedback sessions, 97% of consultants agree that “Bluefin has a knowledge sharing culture”.
  • We value the rich diversity of all people and cultures.

Well-being

Customer focus

  • There’s only one way to run a business: give customers the best possible advice and service.
  • If it’s not right for a customer, it’s not right for us. For example we will advise a customer not to do something, even if it means less work for us. But it means almost every customer will act as a reference for new business.
  • We try to exceed the expectations of our customers.

Excellence

  • In some industries, “striving for excellence” is hot air. But in IT, anything less that success is failure, it’s binary. So we aim high – very high – not just as individuals, but as a team.
  • Our people get whatever training they need to develop the right skills, and the right attitude. Having high technical, professional and personal standards is just good common sense.
  • Innovation and creativity aren’t just profitable, they’re also fun and essential.
